Citywide High School Fairs — September / October
The High School Fairs feature all high schools in New York City. During these fairs, parents and students may visit the “stalls” of the high schools and talk to representatives to learn about their curriculum, resources, student performance and more.
Visitors to the fair may also collect a FREE copy of the New York City High Schools Directory – a very useful publication to learn about every high school in the city. Free copies of SHSAT Handbooks are also available at these fairs. Both the publications may also be available with the schools and NYC DoE offices in the city.
Usually, there will be one citywide high school fair (usual venue: Brooklyn Tech High School, Brooklyn) and one borough-wide high school fair for each borough.
Usual venues for borough-wide high school fairs:
— Theodore Roosevelt Educational Campus, 500, East Fordham Road, Bronx, NY 10458.
— Martin Luther King Jr., Educational Campus, 122 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10023.
— Edward R. Murrow High School, 1600, Avenue L, Brooklun, NY 11230.
— Francis Lewis High School, 58-20, Utopia Parkway, Queens, NY 11365.
